Meet Sumathi Ravichandran

Sumathi is a self-taught Indian artist whose work is inspired by nature, travel, and quiet observation.

Born in Varanasi and raised in Salem, her early connection to landscapes and nature continues to shape her artistic outlook. Working primarily in oil on canvas and also with acrylics, her paintings reflect layered journeys through pathways, mountains, flowers, and moments of calm.

Her works invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect.
